Hi, I’m Kaori!

A certified mindfulness meditation trainer with over a decade of practice. Integrating my background in cognitive psychology and corporate experience, I am passionate about holistic approach to emotional wellbeing particularly in the context of “relationships”, guiding individuals towards healthier, more authentic relationships within themselves and others through interactive guided meditations.

Mindfulness practice has been my own alchemy for transformation, especially in time of difficulty, where confusion, fear, emotional wounds dominated my mind and the whole bring. It is a tool with which we can tap into our inner wisdom that is deeply embedded within our bodies and the mind - that is ever compassionate, and that always wishes for our wellbeing.

Originally from Japan and spent years in the USA and the Netherlands (and currently based in beautiful Melbourne!), it is my privilege to bridge the ancient teachings of Eastern Asia and modern approach to mindfulness which effects backed up by science. I am thrilled to guide and hold space for your journey of fostering mindful connections that truely add value to your lives.

My Approach

Felt-sense of being seen, heard, understood and appreciated for who you are - this is the fundamental experience that I cultivate with you by holding space for what arises within. Paying attention to both your cognition and somatic experiences, you will be equipped with lifelong skills to embrace the wholeness of your existence and to relate to your loved ones, colleagues and community with genuine care and love.

science-based

While encouraging you to tap into your own inner wisdom, it’s beneficial to address what scientific researches have discovered about the human mind. My sessions include information on how our natural coping mechanisms work, biases, findings on positive psychology etc.

heart-centred

When we really understood something, the realisation, wisdom or insight sinks into the body and the heart, or when we speak of what is true and authentic, we feel it coming from the heart rather from the mind. I invite you to bring your heart wide open to let it speak for you. This requires none-judgemental and kind attention, trusting the intelligence of the heart.
